Drivers Licence
All drivers must have a current full licence. A current overseas licence is acceptable if written in English, otherwise we require a current International licence. Drivers under the age of 21 must have held a full licencefor at least three years and will be accepted at the Manager's discretion (a higher insurance excess may apply.)

Insurance
For drivers 25 years and over, the insurance excess is NZ$750. This can be reduced at the Manager's discretion to NZ$200, by paying an additional NZ$10.00 per day. For drivers 21 to 25 years, the insurance excess is NZ$1000. This can be reduced at the Manager's discretion to NZ$300, by paying an additional NZ$10.00 per day. A single vehicle accident will be subject to an excess of $1500 + GST.

Bond
A bond is required for all hires. You may be asked to sign a seperate security bond in the form of a credit card imprint, or give a cash deposit. This bond is held by Auckland Bargain Car Rental Ltd as security and will not be cashed. It is the hirer's guarantee that the vehicle will be returned on time and in the condition that it was hired.

Petrol
Each vehicle is supplied with a full tank of petrol and needs to be returned with a full tank.

Payment
Payment is to be made upon commencement of vehicle hire. Credit cards, cash and traveler's cheques are accepted. All prices quoted are in New Zealand Dollars.

Cancellation
Cancellations made within seven days of commencement of hire may incur a penalty.

Baby or Child seats
Child seats are now compulsory on New Zealand roads ( up to 5 years of age) and may be hired from us. Please order at time of reservation stating the age of your child so the correct size can be booked.

Rental duration
Our normal rental is based on a 24 hour period(minimum rental). Extra hours will becharged at one fifth of the daily rate per hour for the first four hours, after which full daily rate shall apply

Bookings
For rental bookings we will charge your credit card with NZ$100.00 to reserve your booking. This is non-refundable.

One way hire
Minimum hire days apply and repositioning fees will also apply.

Early returns
Returning a hired vehicle early will have no refund unless with prior arrangement.
